About Hostinger
What Hostinger is good for
Hostinger is a large international provider known for low headline prices and an easy sign-up. Its UK page lists plans from a single website up to a cloud plan, and it includes tools such as an AI website builder. If you want a builder alongside hosting, that is something we do not offer.
Where we differ is focus. We are a UK-only hosting company, with servers in London, and every plan includes unlimited email accounts, subdomains and MySQL databases. If your visitors are in the UK and you value a UK company with a UK domain price that stays at £9.99 on renewal, that may matter to you.
Low prices over long terms are worth reading carefully. A price that looks tiny per month may require a 48-month payment, and the renewal price afterwards may be several times higher. Work out the total you pay and the figure afterwards, and compare it to a yearly price.

How to compare hosting prices honestly
Hosting prices are rarely a single number. Many providers show a low price for the first term, then a higher price when it renews, and the length of the first term varies a great deal. A fair comparison puts three numbers side by side: what you pay today, what you pay at the first renewal, and what you pay over three years including any domain and email you need.
That applies to every host, including us, and including Hostinger. Open each checkout page, pick the term you would really buy, and write down the total and the renewal figure. Check whether prices are shown with or without tax, whether a free domain is free only for the first year, and whether the plan you are looking at includes the email and databases you need.
Our own plans are priced per year when billed yearly: Very Small is £10.03, Small is £21.18, Medium is £33.45, Large is £44.60, Limitless is £66.89 and Limitless Plus is £133.79. A long term can be good value if you are sure of your plans. If you are launching a project that may change, a four-year commitment is a bigger bet than a one-year term, even when the monthly figure is lower. Ask what you would get back if you cancel in the middle, and check the refund terms in the small print.
Think about how your needs may change. A site that starts small may need more room, more email or a different setup within a year or two. Yearly billing keeps your options open, and the monthly cost across terms is about the same with us, so you are not penalised for staying flexible.

- Confirm you can unlock your domain and get its transfer code, if you plan to move it
- Test the new site on a temporary address before changing DNS
- Keep the old plan running until the new one has been working for a few days
